I didn’t get to use this book too much. I bought it late in the semester. It was good though. I just recommend buying sooner.

The book was in okay shape. Something had been spilled on several of the pages, but that was not a big deal. But when I was studying and needed to refer to a chart, I realized that there were pages missing.
If that was the case, I should have been notified of that before I bought the book.

This book is extremely helpful! I have every one that Mary Ann Hogan has wrote. I recommend all nursing students to get this book.

These books are great. They outline everything without all of the fluff. The answers to the questions tell you which words to look for so you know how to answer those tricky Nursing test questions. They give you the rationales for the right AND wrong answers.

Psych is already hard enough, why stress yourself out more than you have to?! This book offers pre- and post tests, all with different questions, and gives you the main points you have to know. PLUS, if you’re lucky enough to buy it with the CD included, you’ll get not only the questions in the book, but a bit more at that. One thing I learned with psych class is to take notes of example story citations when the instructor gives them (helps differentiate the terms), then also hit up as many NCLEX-style psych questions as possible. This book helped me pass the class in very good standing.
