used book,but now I will definitely not think twice.

I am very dissatisfied with this textbook. I’ve written to your company and have not received satisfactory results, instead I’ve received “snotty” responses. The “scratch off” on the inside of the cover has a code that allows me access to the textbook online. The material used in the scratch off is faulty and would not scratch off. I’m sure this is also happening to other students. I asked for a code to access the textbook online and was told the code is specific to the book. I then asked to replace the book and was told the company did nothing wrong. I then responded that I wanted a supervisor involved because this is a manufacturer defect. I have not received a response yet. I begin nursing classes tomorrow. I’m dishearted because I’m not sure that I’ll ever get resolution. I purchased this book in good faith and did nothing wrong. The scratch off is defective. It does not take a college education to do a simple scratch off and when I say the scratch off is defective – then the scratch off is defective. Also, I’ve spent between $850 – $1000 last year on textbook through Amazon. Now do you understand why I’m dishearted?

It is fairly easy to read and is interesting. There are a lot of graphics in the chapters, so for visual people it is great. Out of all the required texts, I think this one is one of the best that I’ve been forced to endure
